style="color:blue;">This is an image from a production of Edward Albee’s ‘The Goat’ staged at the Guild Theatre Parkville. This was the debut performance from my own theatre company (Moving Pieces Theatre Co) as well as my Directorial debut, although I also held the position of Set Designer and Social Media Manager. Our company decided to put on this production as it is one of Albee’s most controversial works, and we felt that the student theatre scene was an untapped market to perform more risqué theatre. Through this process I gained so many new skills, such as Set Carpentry, Intimacy Coordination, and how to run a production from top to tail. In the future I would improve my organisational skills as dealing with so many different department heads require you to be very focused and precise with your output as a director and designer.
